I have no idea what Abbey is mixed with. She came to me from Bolingbrook,Illinois along with 5 other Pittie mixes.
She is spayed,not chipped and is current on everything but her Rabies vaccination. Abbey is probably close to 5-1/2 years old now.And, I’m not sure if she is deaf or just has selective hearing.She came to me in 2007 and seemed to hear just fine at the time. Not sure about cats as I don’t have any. She loves going for walks and is pretty good with any dog she meets. I don’t usually do same sex adoptions unless I know for certain that there are no issues with the same sex. Oh, and she could stand to lose a few pounds.She’s a chunky monkey. BTW,I usually only take in the white Pitties.I have a passion for the white ones!

Can you tell more about Abbey? What is she mixed with, how big, how old, spayed, shots, chipped? We have another pittie, Ashee, 2 years old spayed AKC blue nose brindle. It does not say no cats, will she tolerate them? Is she good on the leash?

Mary, Wendell has been adopted.If you’re open to adopting a different breed to help your girl Penny,please take a look at Ruger! He’s awesome and has helped another dog get over her depression when she lost her sister to cancer.

Thanks Contisa for the encouraging words.It isn’t easy having a Pit Bull rescue,because most people believe what they read and hear in the news about Bullies. They ARE wonderful dogs,but not for everyone.
