For those of you that like to research before you decide, a great article to read: “http://www.dogster.com/dog-breeds/pitbulls”
Also I wanted to point out, “Pitbulls are like other dogs yet they’re also unique. Their gameness, focus, desire to please and boundless energy can be seen as either productive or unproductive traits. The trick is to utilize these characteristics in focused play and work, such as agility, weight pulling, rescue work or nose work.”
If you are looking for a great agility dog you might want to consider a Pitbull! One of our dogs that was recently adopted has gone onto agility training. We hear Gypsy Rose is doing great at it! And cant wait to hear more about her adventures.
Hi my name is Wylie! I am about 12-18 months old and havent had much formal training, but I am very smart and catch on quickly. He is good on his leash walks and has now learned his “sit ” command;because of his boisterous nature he would do best in a home with children over the age of 12. If you would like to check me out please email: peanutsplacerescue@yahoo.com and fill out an application. You can also find my application on Petfinder.

We think every Pit Bull deserves a happy, healthy and loving fur-ever home regardless of disability or past trauma! That’s why Simple Dog is teaming up with Pit Bull rescues to help raise donations for some very special Pits Bulls and Pit rescues this Memorial Day 2011 (scroll down to read their stories). We are also working hard to improve the image of this often misunderstood breed.
During this special fundraiser challenge from May 25th to June 7th 2011, we’re featuring our NEW! Pit Bull on Board pro-cut vinyl decals. A complete $5 for each one sold goes as a donation to the Pit Bull rescue you choose.
Purchase any Simple Dog bumper sticker, magnet or decal today and donate $5 to your favorite Bully rescue, too. Pit lovers like you have donated more than $3,000 to Pit Bull rescues during our Simple Dog online fundraisers. Thank you for your generous donations!

If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer for a good cause we are looking for a Government Grant Writer. There are many opportunities out there but we are missing out because of the lack of a professional grant writer.
Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to help us out.
Dont let my name fool you, I am just a big lover!
I am up to date on all my shots, and am house trained already. I am not a fan of cats, they seem to tease me alot so I would do better in a home without them.
I am a very good boy and dont understand why noone wants to take me home. I love my rescue mom but sure would like a nice soft bed of my own and someone who would love lots of doggy kisses.
You can find my adoption forms on petfinder!

We are a new business, specializing in high quality leads. The name and business “Ella’s Lead” was inspired by our lovely pit bull mix, Ella (Ella Fitzgerald, to be exact). Ella is your typical strong, prey driven pit bull (mix) and could give us a run for our money on walks when she’d spot a squirrel, rabbit, or just anything fuzzy. Our hands would burn from leashes that would practically cut into our hands. We found out about rope leads through doing some searching and we tweaked what we found with different hardware choices and by researching different types of ropes. We have been pleased with our discoveries and now we bring you all Ella’s Lead.
15% of every “1692″ collar sold goes to Peanut’s Place to help the Bullies! Thank You Rebecca!!!!
